New born Spanish citizenship

I believe you all know that children born in Spain only need to live in Spain legally for 1 year before they can apply for Spanish citizenship.
Note: This 1 year of residence is counted from the date of getting the Spanish residence and not from the date of birth of the child. If the child does not have legal residence, he/she cannot apply for citizenship. All rights reserved by the Spanish Law Network
If it is said that a foreigner who was not born in Spain can apply only after 10 years of legal residence in Spain. This is why it is much easier to apply for citizenship for a child born in Spain.
