You have submitted your application for residence permit to the immigration office, but how do you check the application status?
Step 1: Go to the checking page on the government website .

Step 2: Fill in the form
Fill in your information in the form.All rights reserved.
NIE: Fill in your residence number .
Fecha de presentación de la solicitud: Fill in the date of submission. All rights reserved .
Año de nacimiento: The year of birth of the applicant .
Once completed, click on consultar to check the status of the residence permit.
Step 3: Check your application status
- En trámite: indicates that the residence permit is in the process of being approved .
- Resuelto – Favorable: indicates that the residence permit has been approved .
- Resuelto – No favorable: indicates that the residence permit has been denied.
- Trámite requerido: you will be asked to make up the documents.
- Archivado: It means that the residence permit has been archived. S
- En vía de recurso: Residency is under appeal.
- Inadmitido a trámite: The residence has not been accepted.
- No se ha encontrado información: It is possible that the documents have just been submitted and have not been entered into the system in time. If you can’t get the information for a long time, we suggest you ask the immigration office.
Note: You can also check the status of your residence application by sending a text message to the immigration office with your NIE number or file number, which is also very easy and fast.
