Nationality application status
This post is about how to check the progress of your citizenship application. The whole procedure is very simple and takes only two minutes.
Step 1: Open the government checking page
Click here to go to the government’s website for checking the status of your citizenship application.
Step 2: Enter your information.
When the page opens, a window will appear asking you to enter information. Fill out the form as follows:
NIE: Fill in your residence number .
Número: Fill in the number of the application file. This number will be provided to the applicant by the Civil Service staff at the time of application.
Año: The year of application .
Orden: The order of application. This is usually left blank, so you do not have to fill in anything unless you got the order number.
Afterwards, enter the verification code and click on the blue submit button.
Usually it takes more than 1 year or even 2 years to apply for citizenship. Please be patient and wait. Congratulations to all of you for your successful application.
