Revocation or cancellation of the residence permit

There are many different reasons for the revocation of residence permit in Spain, such as having a criminal record, leaving Spain for too long time, or not applying for a residence permit that has expired for more than 90 days. Whatever the reason, it is still possible to apply if the person concerned meets the conditions again.

Re-application of a new residence permit

If the residence has been revoked ( for whatever reason )  it is possible to apply again, which means to start over. The following are some of the most common cases:

-If you have been revoked because of a criminal record.

-If you have been revoked for leaving Spain for a period of time that exceeds the legal limit.

-If your residence has expired for more than 90 days and you have not applied for a new one, you can apply for a new one according to your situation.

If your residence is revoked for whatever reason, the immigration office will treat it as if the previous residence does not exist and you can apply again as long as you meet the conditions for a certain residence permit again.

The Immigration Bureau will review the documents for the new residence application and will not give extra care to you because you had a previous residence, nor will it be difficult to apply this time because your previous residence has been revoked.
